One of the most beautiful route along Via Francigena. Leave S. Gimignano, after going up and down, reach Molino d’Aiano, a resort along the track of Sigerico.
 Go on towards Badia a Coneo, Gracciano, and then to Strove, including a pretty Romanesque Pieve. Pass the wonderful architectural structure of Abbadia in Isola before reaching Monteriggioni, where there is an unmistakable tower crest. Water and road-houses are available only in populated areas.
