Undertake a plain route where the main attractions are historical and religeous buildings along the path: the boundary wall and the amphitheatre in Lucca, the Pieve of Capannori, the Abbey of Pozzeveri, the Church of S. Jacopo and the city centre of Altopascio. Walk down a track in Corte Ginori and pay attention to several crossings along the suburban street. Outside the populated areas there is no water supply.
