Leaving Mortara we reach the abbey of Sant’Albino, built in the fifth century and later recasted. The perfect place to stop for pilgrims arriving from Mortara.

A path through fields takes us to Remondò and Tromello, rest-stop of Sigeric’s route. The walk includes easy rural roads, following asphalt roads only through towns. Outside populated areas there is no water supply, the only rest-stop is in Tromello.
